Huawei has officially unveiled the Huawei Pura 90, introducing a standard model that stands out with a bigger battery than its Pro counterparts. While the device features a simpler design, it combines premium
hardware, fast charging, and the brand’s latest software experience.

Design and Display
The Huawei Pura 90 arrives in Snow White, Velvet Black, and Roland Purple finishes. The handset keeps a slim profile, measuring just 7.0mm thick and weighing around 210 grams.
On the front, it sports a 6.8-inch LTPO OLED display with a resolution of 2856 × 1320 pixels. The panel supports a dynamic refresh rate from 1Hz to 120Hz, along with a 300Hz touch sampling rate for smoother interaction. Huawei has also added Kunlun Glass protection for improved durability.
Additionally, the phone carries IP68 and IP69 certifications, ensuring resistance against water immersion and high-pressure water exposure.
Performance and Software
Under the hood, the device runs on Huawei’s 7nm Kirin 9010S chipset. It is available with 12GB or 16GB RAM, paired with 256GB or 512GB of internal storage.
The smartphone boots HarmonyOS 6.1, delivering the latest features and system optimizations from Huawei’s ecosystem.
Camera Setup
The Huawei Pura 90 features a triple-camera system on the rear. It includes a 50MP main sensor with a 24mm f/1.8 lens, a 12.5MP ultra-wide camera, and a 50MP periscope telephoto lens offering extended zoom capabilities.
For selfies and video calls, the device is equipped with a 50MP front-facing camera.
Battery and Charging
One of the standout features is its large 6,500mAh battery, which surpasses the capacity found in the Pro models. The phone supports 100W wired fast charging and 50W wireless charging, aiming to deliver both endurance and quick top-ups.
