Redmi A7 Series Expands With New Budget 4G Models Under $150

Xiaomi has expanded its Redmi A7 lineup with two new affordable smartphones — the Redmi A7 4G and Redmi A7 Pro 4G. The launch comes shortly after the debut of the 5G variant, targeting users who want modern features at a lower cost.

Large Displays With Smooth Experience

Both devices focus on delivering a better display experience in the budget segment. The Redmi A7 4G features a 6.88-inch LCD panel, while the Pro model offers a slightly larger 6.9-inch display.

Notably, both phones support HD+ resolution, a 120Hz refresh rate, and a 240Hz touch sampling rate. This ensures smoother scrolling and improved responsiveness.

They also include useful features like a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, dual-SIM support, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. Additionally, both devices come with an IP52 rating for basic dust and splash resistance.

Performance and Software Support

Under the hood, both smartphones are powered by the Unisoc T7250 chipset. They offer up to 4GB LPDDR4X RAM and 64GB UFS 2.2 storage, along with microSD card support for expansion.

On the software side, the Redmi A7 4G runs HyperOS 2 based on Android 15. Meanwhile, the Pro variant ships with HyperOS 3 based on Android 16.
