New details about the upcoming vivo X500 Pro Max have surfaced online, revealing major upgrades in its rear camera system. The leak arrives shortly after earlier reports shared information about the device’s display, adding more clarity to its flagship-level specifications.
Triple Rear Camera Setup Confirmed
According to the latest leak, the vivo X500 Pro Max will feature a triple rear camera system. The setup is expected to include two 50MP sensors along with a high-resolution 200MP camera, making it one of the most advanced imaging setups in the series.
50MP Sony Primary Sensor
The main camera is tipped to use a 50MP Sony 1/1.28-inch LOFIC sensor. This sensor is designed to enhance dynamic range and improve low-light photography, helping the device capture more detailed and balanced images in challenging lighting conditions.
200MP Periscope Telephoto Camera
The standout feature of the system is the periscope telephoto lens, which may come with a 200MP 1/1.4-inch sensor. This camera is expected to significantly improve zoom quality while maintaining sharpness and clarity at long distances.
Upgraded Ultrawide Camera in Testing
For ultrawide shots, vivo is reportedly testing a 50MP Sony IMX8-series sensor. However, the company is also considering a smaller 50MP alternative, meaning final specifications may still change before launch.
Expected Launch Timeline
The vivo X500 series is rumored to debut in September and could include four different models. This suggests a broad lineup aimed at different price and performance segments.
Possible Chipset Upgrade
Earlier leaks also indicate that the X500 Pro Max may be powered by MediaTek’s upcoming Dimensity 9600 chipset. If true, this would position the device as a high-end flagship focused on both performance and camera innovation.
