Trump T1 Phone Finally Set to Ship This Week, CEO Confirms

After months of delays and uncertainty, the Trump-branded T1 Phone is finally preparing to reach customers. According to Trump Mobile CEO Pat O’Brien, the company will begin shipping the smartphone later this week to early buyers who placed pre-orders months ago.

The update came through an exclusive interview with USA Today, which also shared fresh images of the device along with a short teaser video. However, some online users questioned whether parts of the promotional material may have been AI-generated.

Delayed Launch Timeline

The T1 Phone was originally introduced in June last year and was expected to launch in August. Later, the release window shifted to October before the company changed the timeline again to a vague “later this year.” None of those launch targets were met.

In addition to the delays, the phone also underwent several reported specification changes during development. One of the biggest changes involved manufacturing. While early marketing suggested the device would be made in the United States, the company later confirmed that production would happen elsewhere.

CEO Says Delays Were “Worth It”

Pat O’Brien stated that all customers who pre-ordered the T1 Phone should receive their units within the coming weeks. Although he did not explain the exact reasons behind the long delay, he defended the extended development period by saying the company believes it is delivering “an amazing product.”

That statement may raise eyebrows among tech enthusiasts because the T1 Phone reportedly shares many similarities with the nearly two-year-old HTC U24 Pro. Early comparisons suggest the two devices feature almost identical hardware and design elements.

Mystery Around the Chipset

Despite the renewed launch announcement, several important details about the T1 Phone remain unknown. The company has still not revealed the chipset powering the device, which has become a major talking point among potential buyers.

With the phone carrying a reported $499 price tag, many consumers are now waiting for full performance details and hands-on reviews before deciding whether it offers good value.

Retail Box Includes Extra Accessories

One area where the T1 Phone may stand out is its included accessories. Unlike many modern smartphones that ship with minimal contents, the T1 package will reportedly include a charging brick, a braided USB-C cable, and a transparent silicone case inside the box.

The first customer shipments are expected to begin rolling out later this week, which should finally provide a clearer picture of what the long-delayed device actually offers.
