Infinix Smart 20 Expected to Debut in Pakistan Soon
Infinix is reportedly preparing to launch the new Infinix Smart 20 in Pakistan. The smartphone first appeared in retail leaks earlier this year before making its official global debut in March. According to industry insiders, the company may start teasing the device locally within the next few days.
Budget Smartphone Aimed at Everyday Users
The Smart 20 is expected to target the entry-level market, where it could compete with devices like the Tecno Spark 50. The handset is designed for users looking for a budget-friendly daily driver with decent features, although it may not satisfy heavy gamers or power users.
Helio G81 Ultimate Powers the Device
The phone is equipped with the MediaTek Helio G81 Ultimate chipset, a 12nm processor clocked at up to 2.0GHz. It comes with 4GB RAM, which should handle regular tasks and light multitasking. The device also ships with Android 16-based XOS 16 software.
Storage Options and Expandable Memory
Infinix Smart 20 is expected to arrive in two storage variants, including 64GB and 128GB options. Both versions use eMMC 5.1 storage technology. Users will also get a dedicated microSD card slot for additional storage expansion.
Large 120Hz Display Included
The smartphone features a 6.78-inch IPS LCD display with HD+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. The screen can reportedly reach nearly 700 nits brightness, though outdoor visibility in direct sunlight may still feel limited. The higher refresh rate should provide smoother scrolling and animations.
Entry-Level Cameras with 2K Video Support
On the camera side, the Smart 20 includes an 8MP rear sensor and an 8MP front-facing selfie camera placed inside a punch-hole cutout. Despite its basic camera setup, the phone is said to support 2K video recording at 30fps, which is uncommon in this price category.
Battery and Extra Features
The handset packs a 5200mAh battery with support for 15W charging. Other notable features include an IP64 dust and water resistance rating, fingerprint scanner, infrared remote support, and a single bottom-firing speaker.
Launch and Pricing Details Still Unknown
Infinix has not yet confirmed the official launch date or pricing for Pakistan. More details are expected once the company begins its local promotional campaign.
