April 25, 2026 — Infinix has officially unveiled the GT 50 Pro, expanding its gaming-focused GT series. The new smartphone succeeds the GT 30 Pro and aims to deliver a premium gaming experience, supported by a growing ecosystem of accessories.

Design and Display
The Infinix GT 50 Pro features a 6.78-inch AMOLED display with a 1.5K resolution of 1208 × 2644 pixels. It supports a 144Hz refresh rate and a 330Hz touch sampling rate, ensuring smooth gameplay.
Additionally, the device offers an instant touch sampling rate of up to 2800Hz and peak brightness reaching 4,500 nits. Protection is handled by Gorilla Glass 7i.
A standout feature is the inclusion of pressure-sensitive shoulder triggers. These support multiple gestures, including light press, heavy press, and sliding input. Each trigger can be customized with up to four controls, while sensitivity can be adjusted across 10 levels. Outside gaming, they also function as quick shortcuts.
The device is available in three color options: Black Abyss, Red Blaze, and Silver Glacier.
Performance and Software
Powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 8400 Ultimate chipset, the GT 50 Pro is built on a 4nm process and delivers clock speeds up to 3.25GHz.
Graphics performance is handled by the Mali-G720 MC6 GPU. The phone includes 12GB LPDDR5X RAM and up to 512GB UFS 4.1 storage, targeting high-end gaming needs.
The device runs on Android 16 paired with XOS 16. Infinix has confirmed three years of Android updates and five years of security patches.
To maintain performance, the phone uses a liquid cooling system with a micro-pump and ceramic heat pump. It circulates coolant at a rate of 6.5ml per minute to manage heat during extended gaming sessions.
An optional GT Magcharge Cooler 2.0 accessory provides additional thermoelectric cooling and supports wireless bypass charging.
Cameras
The Infinix GT 50 Pro comes equipped with a dual rear camera setup. It includes a 50MP main sensor with OIS and EIS, alongside an 8MP ultra-wide lens.
On the front, the device features a 13MP selfie camera. Both front and rear cameras support video recording at up to 4K resolution at 60fps.
Battery and Features
The smartphone houses a large 6,500mAh battery designed for extended usage. It supports 45W wired charging, 30W wireless charging, and 10W reverse charging.
Additional features include stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos support, an in-display fingerprint scanner, IR blaster, and IP64-rated dust and water resistance.
