Samsung Galaxy A37 and Samsung Galaxy A57 have officially arrived in Pakistan, as Samsung Electronics expands its mid-range lineup. The new Galaxy A-series phones were introduced on April 28, bringing notable upgrades in design, performance, camera features, and long-term software support.

Design and Display Improvements
Both devices feature a large 6.7-inch Super AMOLED display with Full HD+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. As a result, users can expect smoother scrolling and an improved gaming experience.
The Galaxy A57 stands out with a slimmer metal frame, measuring just 6.9mm in thickness and weighing 179 grams. In addition, it offers an IP68 rating, providing protection against dust and water.
In terms of colors, the Galaxy A57 is available in Navy, Gray, Icy Blue, and Lilac. Meanwhile, the Galaxy A37 comes in Lavender, Charcoal, Graygreen, and White options.
Performance and Software
Under the hood, the Galaxy A57 is powered by the Exynos 1680 chipset, built on a 4nm process. It also features the Xclipse 550 GPU and an upgraded NPU delivering 19.6 TOPS for AI tasks. Moreover, Samsung has added a larger vapor chamber to improve heat management.
On the other hand, the Galaxy A37 runs on the Exynos 1480 processor, previously used in the Galaxy A55, offering reliable mid-range performance.
Both smartphones run on One UI 8.5 based on Android 16. Notably, Samsung promises up to six years of Android OS and security updates, making these devices future-proof in their category.
The Galaxy A57 also introduces AI-powered features such as Best Face, Auto Trim, enhanced Object Eraser, and Voice Transcription.
Camera Capabilities
In the camera department, both phones include a 50MP main sensor with an f/1.8 aperture. This setup supports improved Nightography, ensuring better low-light photos and videos.
For selfies, both models feature a 12MP front camera. However, there are slight differences in ultra-wide lenses. The Galaxy A57 includes a 12MP ultra-wide camera, while the Galaxy A37 offers an 8MP ultra-wide sensor. Additionally, both devices come with a 5MP macro lens.
Battery and Charging
Both the Galaxy A37 and Galaxy A57 are equipped with a 5,000mAh battery. They also support 45W Super Fast Charging 2.0. According to Samsung, the devices can charge up to 60% in around 30 minutes, ensuring quick top-ups for daily use.
Price and Availability in Pakistan
In the Pakistani market, the Galaxy A37 starts at Rs 149,999 for the 8GB RAM and 256GB storage variant.
Meanwhile, the Galaxy A57 is priced at Rs 166,999 for the base 8GB + 256GB model. Higher-end variants with 12GB RAM and up to 512GB storage are available at Rs 184,999.
