Gaming smartphone brand RedMagic has officially launched the new RedMagic 11S Pro series in China, introducing a lineup focused heavily on high-end gaming performance and advanced cooling technology.
The latest flagship phones arrive with upgraded hardware, enhanced thermal management, large batteries, and several software additions aimed at delivering a PC-like gaming experience on mobile devices.
144Hz OLED Display with Under-Display Camera
The RedMagic 11S Pro series features a large 6.85-inch 1.5K OLED display with a 144Hz refresh rate for smoother gameplay and animations.
According to the company, the screen achieves a 95.3% screen-to-body ratio and uses BOE’s X10 under-display lighting technology. The phones also include a 16MP under-display front camera, helping the display remain free from notches or punch-hole cutouts.
The display supports SGS and TÜV Rheinland eye-protection certifications. RedMagic has also equipped the devices with a 3D ultrasonic fingerprint scanner for faster and more secure unlocking.
Both models are available in Silver Wing and Dark Night color options.
Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 Powers the Lineup
Under the hood, the RedMagic 11S Pro series is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 Leading Version chipset, featuring a peak CPU clock speed of 4.74GHz.
RedMagic claims the phones achieved an AnTuTu benchmark score exceeding 4.6 million points. Alongside the flagship processor, the devices also include the company’s custom Red Core R4 gaming chip, designed to improve graphics rendering, frame interpolation, touch response, and gaming stability.
The phones run Android 16 with RedMagic OS 11.5 on top.
Advanced Cooling System for Long Gaming Sessions
To manage heat during intensive gaming, RedMagic has introduced a redesigned dual cooling setup that combines liquid cooling and active air cooling.
The system includes a redesigned liquid cooling channel, a high-speed 24,000rpm internal cooling fan, and a new 43-blade fan structure. RedMagic says the cooling fan supports IPX8-rated water resistance, while the devices themselves also carry an IPX8 certification.
The higher-end RedMagic 11S Pro+ includes a more advanced liquid cooling module aimed at maintaining stable performance during extended gaming sessions.
Steam Direct Connectivity Brings PC Gaming Features
One of the standout additions in the new series is Steam Direct connectivity. The feature allows users to access supported PC games directly through the built-in gaming interface, bringing a more desktop-style gaming environment to smartphones.
The phones also support WiFi 7, NFC, infrared remote control functionality, and a 3.5mm headphone jack.
Dual 50MP Cameras and Hidden Selfie Sensor
For photography, the RedMagic 11S Pro series includes dual 50MP rear cameras, featuring a wide and ultrawide setup.
On the front, both models use a 16MP under-display selfie camera that remains hidden beneath the screen during regular use.
Battery, Charging, and Pricing
The standard RedMagic 11S Pro packs an 8000mAh battery with support for 80W wired charging.
Meanwhile, the RedMagic 11S Pro+ features a 7500mAh battery with faster 120W wired charging and 80W wireless charging support.
Pricing for the lineup starts at around $760 for the 12GB RAM and 256GB storage version of the RedMagic 11S Pro.
The RedMagic 11S Pro+ starts at approximately $860 for the same memory configuration. Higher-end variants with 16GB RAM and 512GB storage cost around $970, while the top-end 16GB + 1TB model is priced near $1,110.
RedMagic has not yet confirmed whether the 11S Pro series will launch in global markets.
