NBTC Certification Confirms Global Launch Preparations
The upcoming Oppo Reno16 Pro has appeared on Thailand’s NBTC certification database ahead of its expected international debut. The listing confirms that the smartphone supports 5G connectivity along with older cellular network standards.
The certified device carries the model number CPH2863. Although the certification does not disclose complete hardware specifications, it strongly suggests that Oppo is preparing the phone for launch in multiple global markets.
International Variant May Differ from Chinese Model
Previous leaks indicate that the global version of the Reno16 Pro could feature several changes compared to the Chinese edition. Oppo is reportedly planning a compact flagship-style design with premium build materials.
The smartphone is rumored to feature a 6.32-inch OLED display along with a glass-and-aluminum construction, giving it a more premium feel.
200MP Camera Could Be the Biggest Highlight
One of the most talked-about upgrades is expected to be the camera system. According to leaks, the Reno16 Pro may arrive with a triple rear camera setup led by a massive 200MP primary sensor.
If accurate, this would become one of the biggest camera improvements in the Reno series so far. Oppo is also expected to retain the familiar rear camera island design seen on the Reno15 Pro lineup.
Larger Battery and New Action Button Expected
Battery capacity may also see an improvement. Reports suggest the Reno16 Pro could feature a slightly larger battery than the 6,200mAh unit used in the previous generation.
In addition, rumors claim Oppo may introduce a new Action button, offering users quick access to shortcuts and additional controls.
Expected Launch Timeline
The international version of the Oppo Reno16 Pro is expected to launch sometime between July and August. More official details regarding specifications, pricing, and availability are likely to surface in the coming weeks.
