Oppo F29 Pro 5G Key Specs Revealed Early; Here’s What to Expect

Oppo is set to revive its F series this year with the Oppo F29 Pro 5G, and a well-known leaker has recently revealed key details about the upcoming device. The first signs of this phone appeared in December through a certification, but there had been little news since then. Now, the F29 Pro 5G is back in the spotlight, and there’s plenty to discuss.

Oppo F29 Pro 5G Key Specs Revealed Early; Here’s What to Expect

Certification and Expected Launch

Before diving into the main highlights, it’s worth mentioning that the Bluetooth SIG certified the device last week. This suggests that its launch is just around the corner, likely by the end of March or early April. With official approvals in place, all signs point to an imminent debut.

Display and Performance

According to Sudhanshu Amboher, who leaked the details on X (formerly Twitter), the Oppo F29 Pro 5G will feature a 6.7-inch Quad-Curve AMOLED display with a 1080p FHD+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. Given the F-series’ reputation for upper mid-range devices, these specs seem highly plausible.

Under the hood, the Dimensity 7300 chipset is expected to power the device, paired with LPDDR4X RAM and UFS 3.1 storage. This marks a performance upgrade from the Dimensity 7050 found in the Oppo F27 Pro, ensuring smoother multitasking and better efficiency.

Battery and Charging

The leak also revealed details about the battery. The Oppo F29 Pro 5G will reportedly feature a 6000mAh battery with 80W fast charging support. This combination promises a 1.5-day battery life, making it a reliable choice for heavy users. Additionally, the device is expected to include an in-display fingerprint scanner for security.

Software and AI Features

The F29 Pro 5G will ship with Android 15 out of the box, running ColorOS with Oppo’s custom AI features. However, since these details are based on early leaks, some aspects may change when the official announcement is made.

Final Thoughts

The Oppo F29 Pro 5G is no longer a rumor, as official certifications have confirmed its existence. The device, with model number CPH2705, has already received Bluetooth SIG approval. Given that this is the Pro variant, a standard F29 model is also likely in development. As the successor to the Oppo F27 Pro, it is expected to bring notable upgrades.
