Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 and Advanced Cooling

Lenovo is preparing to return to the smartphone market with the launch of the Lenovo Legion Y70 (2026) on May 19. Ahead of the official unveiling, several new specifications of the gaming-focused flagship have appeared online.

The upcoming device will reportedly feature Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 processor. Lenovo has also added a large 5,500mm² vapor chamber cooling system to manage heat during gaming and demanding tasks. The phone is expected to include LPDDR5X Ultra RAM and fast UFS 4.1 storage.

The Legion Y70 (2026) is expected to arrive with a premium Q10 AMOLED LTPO display. The screen will support a 144Hz refresh rate and a sharp 2K resolution for smoother visuals and better clarity.

Lenovo has also confirmed features like a 360Hz touch sampling rate, Dolby Vision support, and full DC dimming. The panel can reportedly reach up to 7,000 nits peak brightness, making it one of the brightest smartphone displays in its category.
