The iPhone 18 Pro has surfaced in two newly leaked drop-test videos, giving us one of the clearest looks yet at Apple’s upcoming flagship. The footage appeared online shortly after reports emerged of a massive supply chain data breach, raising fresh questions about how much confidential information may have escaped into the wild.
While Apple has not commented on the clips, the leaked footage closely matches previous rumors surrounding the next-generation iPhone Pro. From its familiar premium design to subtle hardware changes, the videos suggest that Apple’s upcoming flagship may deliver refinement rather than a complete redesign. If authentic, this leak could be one of the biggest early previews of the iPhone 18 series.
Drop-Test Videos Reveal Familiar Yet Refined Design
Two short videos reportedly show the iPhone 18 Pro undergoing controlled drop testing inside what appears to be a laboratory environment. Although the tests themselves aren’t explained, they provide a surprisingly detailed view of the device from multiple angles.
The phone features a large horizontal camera platform housing a triple-camera setup, staying very close to the overall design language introduced by previous Pro models. The silver finish shown in the videos also matches earlier leaks.
Slightly Thicker Body Could Improve Durability
One noticeable detail is the phone’s thicker profile. Industry rumors have repeatedly suggested Apple could slightly increase the thickness of the iPhone 18 Pro.
If accurate, the extra space could accommodate a larger battery, improved cooling system, or upgraded internal components without dramatically changing the device’s appearance.
Premium Metal Build Appears to Continue
The leaked handset appears to feature a full metal frame with a premium finish. Several observers believe Apple may continue using an aluminum construction similar to recent models, although final materials remain unconfirmed.
The camera housing also looks larger than before, hinting at possible camera sensor upgrades. However, the videos don’t reveal any camera specifications or software features.
Massive Supply Chain Data Breach Adds New Twist
The timing of these videos has made the story even more interesting.
Reports claim Apple’s manufacturing partner, Tata Electronics, recently suffered a major ransomware attack. According to leaked information, more than 200,000 internal files were reportedly exposed, including supplier documents, component information, and manufacturing records.
Although there is no official confirmation linking the drop-test footage to this breach, many industry insiders believe the videos could have originated from the leaked internal data
@evleaks Shared the Videos Before They Disappeared
The footage first appeared through the well-known leak source @evleaks on X. However, the original post and account activity related to the clips quickly disappeared.
The removal has fueled speculation that Apple may have taken swift action to limit the spread of confidential material. Even so, once leaked content reaches the internet, it often continues circulating across multiple platforms.
More iPhone 18 and Ultra Details Could Surface Soon
The reported leaked files allegedly include supplier information, component lists, and engineering documents. Some reports even suggest they may contain technical details related to both the iPhone 18 Pro and the rumored iPhone 18 Ultra.
If those claims prove accurate, the coming weeks could bring a steady stream of new leaks covering hardware upgrades, camera improvements, chipset details, battery capacity, and other flagship features.
What This Means for Apple
Apple is known for maintaining strict product secrecy before launch. A breach involving hundreds of thousands of internal files could become one of the company’s most significant supply chain security incidents in recent years.
Beyond revealing product designs, such leaks may expose manufacturing processes, supplier relationships, and future hardware plans, creating challenges for Apple’s launch strategy
Should You Wait for the iPhone 18 Pro?
Based on everything leaked so far, the iPhone 18 Pro appears to focus on refining Apple’s existing flagship formula instead of introducing a dramatic redesign. A thicker chassis, familiar premium styling, and potential hardware improvements suggest meaningful upgrades beneath a recognizable exterior.
Whether these videos reveal the final production model remains uncertain. However, if additional files continue emerging from the reported breach, we may soon learn much more about Apple’s next flagship. What do you think—has Apple already lost control of the iPhone 18 Pro secrets, or are there still bigger surprises waiting before the official launch?
