Infinix is preparing to launch the new Infinix GT 50 Pro in Pakistan in just two days. The company has already started teasing the device online, and the official debut is expected on May 15. Since the smartphone has already entered global markets, most of its specifications and gaming-focused features are now confirmed.
Advanced Cooling System Takes Center Stage
One of the biggest highlights of the upcoming GT 50 Pro is its new HydroFlow cooling technology. Infinix claims this is the brand’s first liquid cooling solution designed specifically for gaming performance.
The cooling system uses tiny liquid-filled pipes spread across a 6,437mm² area to control heat during intense gaming sessions. Alongside this setup, the phone also includes a massive 7700mm² vapor chamber, which is said to be the largest cooling chamber ever used in an Infinix device.
To further improve thermal management, users can attach the GT MagCharge Cooler 2.0 accessory. It supports 12W TEC cooling while simultaneously providing 15W wireless charging support.
Magnetic Cooling Accessory and Wireless Features
Unlike some flagship gaming phones, the GT 50 Pro does not feature built-in magnetic support. Instead, users will need to attach a dedicated magnetic case before using the MagCharge Cooler accessory.
The smartphone also supports Wireless Bypass Charging, a feature that helps reduce heat buildup while gaming and charging at the same time. Infinix has officially confirmed support for up to 30W wireless charging on the device.
Dimensity 8400 Ultimate Powers the Device
Under the hood, the MediaTek Dimensity 8400 Ultimate chipset handles performance duties. The processor features an all-big-core architecture with clock speeds reaching up to 3.25GHz.
Graphics performance is managed by the Mali-G720 MC7 GPU, which should provide smooth gameplay and improved frame rates in demanding titles.
144Hz AMOLED Display and Large Battery
The GT 50 Pro features a 6.78-inch flat AMOLED display with a 144Hz refresh rate. The panel delivers a 1.5K resolution of 1208 x 2644 pixels and reaches up to 1600 nits of HBM brightness.
Infinix is expected to introduce the larger battery variant in Pakistan, packing a 6500mAh battery with 45W wired charging support.
Gaming Features and Audio Enhancements
Gaming remains the main focus of the GT 50 Pro. The device includes customizable shoulder triggers built into the frame, allowing users to assign extra controls for games or shortcuts for daily tasks.
The phone also comes with dual stereo speakers tuned with Dolby audio technology for an immersive sound experience.
For connectivity, Infinix has added support for WiFi 6 and an N1 network chip, both aimed at reducing latency during online gaming.
Cameras and Software
On the back, the smartphone carries a 50MP primary camera paired with a secondary 8MP ultrawide sensor. A 13MP front-facing camera handles selfies and video calls.
The GT 50 Pro ships with Android 16 out of the box, and Infinix promises three years of major Android OS updates.
Pakistan Price Still Under Wraps
While most hardware details are now public, Infinix has not yet revealed the official Pakistani price of the GT 50 Pro. The final pricing and availability details are expected during the launch event later this week.
