Xiaomi Poco F7 Secures Another Certification Ahead of Expected Launch in May

The only missing variant from Poco’s latest flagship lineup is the standard “Xiaomi Poco F7.” Following the global unveiling and recent launch of the Poco F7 Pro and F7 Ultra in Pakistan, the company is now finalizing preparations for the base Poco F7 model. Ahead of its expected May release, the device has been certified in Singapore by the IMDA authority.

Xiaomi Poco F7 Secures Another Certification Ahead of Expected Launch in May

Just a few hours ago, the IMDA database was updated with a new Xiaomi device listed under the product code “25053PC47G.” The “G” at the end indicates this is a global variant, suggesting it will be available in multiple regions. Since the Pro and Ultra models have already arrived in Pakistan, there’s strong anticipation that the Poco F7 will also launch there soon.

Rumors suggest that the Poco F7 is a rebranded version of the Redmi Turbo 4 Pro, a device from Xiaomi’s sister brand. If true, we already have a good idea of its specifications. It’s expected to run on the latest Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 chipset.

This powerful SoC features eight cores, a dual-core NPU, and a clock speed of 3.2GHz. It’s believed to outperform last year’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 in overall performance, except in GPU power. However, the 8s Gen 4 brings cutting-edge features, including improved AI capabilities.

The Poco F7 (based on the Redmi Turbo 4 Pro) is expected to feature a 6.83-inch flat OLED display with LTPS tech, a 120Hz refresh rate, and a resolution close to 1.5K. The screen has minimal bezels, a small punch-hole cutout for the 20MP front camera, HDR10+ support, and a peak brightness of 3200 nits.

Powering the device is a robust 7550mAh Si/C Li-Ion battery, all packed into an 8mm-thick body. While wireless charging is absent, it supports rapid 90W wired charging. On the back, you’ll find a dual-camera setup consisting of a 50MP main sensor and an 8MP ultrawide lens—common for mid-range phones.

Due to regulatory challenges in some countries, Xiaomi might equip the global Poco F7 with a slightly smaller battery than the Chinese model. With its official launch expected in May, we’ll soon know all the final details. Stay tuned for more updates on the Poco F7’s debut.
