A new smartphone from Xiaomi has surfaced online, signaling that its launch may be closer than expected. The upcoming Xiaomi 17T has now been spotted on Geekbench, adding weight to rumors of an early debut in May.

Benchmark Listing Reveals Key Specs
According to the listing, a device carrying model number 2602DPT53G is believed to be the Xiaomi 17T. The benchmark data shows that the phone will likely be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 8500 processor, confirming earlier leaks.
The device is also listed with 12GB of RAM and runs on the latest Android 16. In Geekbench AI tests, the smartphone achieved 1,017 points in single precision, 1,329 in half precision, and 1,124 in quantized performance. These scores suggest solid mid-to-high-end performance.
Battery and Charging Details
Reports indicate that the Xiaomi 17T could feature a large 6,500mAh battery. Additionally, it is expected to support 67W wired fast charging, offering improved endurance compared to previous models.
Camera Setup May Remain Unchanged
While performance and battery upgrades are expected, the camera hardware may not see major improvements. Sources suggest that the Xiaomi 17T could retain the same camera system found in the Xiaomi 15T.
Early Launch Timeline Expected
Xiaomi is reportedly planning to unveil both the 17T and 17T Pro models in May. If true, this would mark a significant shift from the company’s usual schedule. For comparison, the Xiaomi 15T series was launched in September last year.
With its early appearance on Geekbench and growing number of leaks, the Xiaomi 17T is shaping up to be one of the brand’s next major releases in 2026.
