Chinese tech giant Vivo has officially unveiled the vivo Y600 Pro, introducing one of the largest batteries ever seen in a mainstream smartphone. The new device arrives as the successor to the Y500 Pro, focusing heavily on battery performance while maintaining a sleek and modern profile.
The Y600 Pro enters the growing category of battery-focused smartphones, competing with models like the Honor Win and Realme Narzo Power. However, Vivo’s latest offering stands out with its advanced silicon-carbon battery technology.

Display and Design
The vivo Y600 Pro features a large 6.83-inch AMOLED display with Full HD+ resolution and a smooth 120Hz refresh rate. Additionally, it includes an under-display optical fingerprint scanner for secure unlocking.
Despite packing a huge battery, the phone measures just 8.25mm in thickness. This makes it only slightly thicker than its predecessor, showing Vivo’s focus on balancing power and design. The device is available in Black, Blue, Gold, and Violet color options. Moreover, it carries IP68 and IP69 ratings, ensuring strong resistance against dust and water.
Performance and Software
Under the hood, the smartphone is powered by the new MediaTek Dimensity 7300e chipset. This processor is closely related to the Dimensity 7300 series but focuses more on power efficiency.
The chip uses a Mali-G610 GPU variant, offering balanced performance for everyday tasks and gaming. On the software side, the phone runs on Android 16 with OriginOS 6 on top, delivering a modern and optimized user experience.
Camera Setup
In terms of optics, the vivo Y600 Pro offers a 50MP primary rear camera with an f/1.8 aperture and optical image stabilization (OIS). This setup is designed to capture stable and detailed photos.
For selfies, the device includes a 32MP front camera. Meanwhile, the secondary rear sensor functions as an IR blaster, adding extra utility for controlling compatible devices.
Battery and Charging
The biggest highlight of the Y600 Pro is its massive 10,200mAh silicon-carbon battery. This battery uses fourth-generation silicon anode technology, improving energy density and longevity.
According to Vivo, the device can easily last over 24 hours on a single charge. It supports up to 47 hours of calling, 28 hours of video playback, and 16 hours of navigation.
Additionally, the battery is designed to retain 80% capacity even after six years of use, based on 1,600 charging cycles. The phone supports 90W fast charging and reverse wired charging, allowing it to power other devices as well.
Price and Variants
The vivo Y600 Pro starts at $307 for the 8GB RAM and 128GB storage variant. Meanwhile, the top-end model with 12GB RAM and 512GB storage is priced at $424.
