Two upcoming Vivo smartphones have appeared on the FCC certification database, revealing key details about their batteries, storage configurations, and software. One of the devices seems to belong to the unfinished Vivo V70 series, while the other is an entry-level Y-series handset expected to target budget buyers.

Vivo V70 Lite 4G Certification Reveals Massive Battery
The first device listed on the FCC platform carries the model number V2604 and is believed to be the upcoming Vivo V70 Lite 4G. Although the certification does not disclose full hardware specifications, it confirms that the phone will feature a large 7,920mAh rated battery.
Vivo is likely to market the device with an advertised battery capacity of either 8,000mAh or 8,100mAh, following common industry practices. The listing also confirms that the smartphone will support only 4G connectivity, unlike other models expected in the Vivo V70 lineup.
Another important detail surfaced through the phone’s IMEI information, which indicates that the device may launch with at least 8GB RAM and 256GB internal storage. This suggests Vivo could position the V70 Lite 4G as a mid-range device with a strong focus on battery life and storage capacity.
Global Launch Could Be Close
Since the FCC is a US-based certification authority, the appearance of the Vivo V70 Lite 4G on the platform hints that the device could soon debut in international markets, potentially beginning with the United States.
The Vivo V70 series is still incomplete, and the Lite variant had not appeared in previous reports, making this certification one of the first signs of its imminent arrival.
Vivo Y05e Also Certified by FCC
Alongside the V70 Lite 4G, another Vivo handset labeled V2606 was also spotted on the FCC database. The device is reportedly the Vivo Y05e, an entry-level smartphone designed for basic everyday use.
Unlike the V70 Lite, the certification does not clearly mention whether the Y05e supports 5G connectivity. However, the listing confirms modest hardware specifications, including 4GB RAM and 64GB internal storage.
The Vivo Y05e is equipped with a battery carrying a rated capacity of 5,050mAh. Vivo will likely advertise the phone with a typical battery capacity of around 5,200mAh.
Android 16 and OriginOS 6 Expected
Both newly certified Vivo smartphones are expected to ship with Android 16-based OriginOS 6 out of the box. While additional specifications and launch dates remain unknown for now, the FCC appearance suggests official announcements may not be far away.
More details about the Vivo V70 Lite 4G and Vivo Y05e are expected to surface in the coming weeks as the launch timeline approaches.
