Tecno Spark 50 Pro Is Coming to Pakistan 60W Charging, 120Hz Display and IP69 Protection

The Tecno Spark 50 Pro is officially heading to Pakistan, with Tecno confirming September 10 as the local launch date. The upcoming Pro model is expected to bring a 6,000mAh-class battery, 60W charging and a rugged IP68/IP69-rated build.

Unlike the more performance-focused phones in Tecno’s lineup, the Spark 50 Pro appears aimed at buyers who prioritize battery life, durability and a large, smooth display. It runs Android 16 with HiOS 16 and uses MediaTek’s Helio G100 Ultimate chipset, keeping the device firmly in the 4G segment.

Tecno Spark 50 Pro Launch Date in Pakistan

Tecno has confirmed that the Spark 50 Pro will launch in Pakistan on September 10, 2026.

The announcement comes after the standard Tecno Spark 50 arrived in the local market earlier this year. The Pro version is positioned as the more feature-rich member of the Spark 50 family.

Tecno has not yet disclosed the official Pakistani price. That figure will be particularly important because the phone faces strong competition from Xiaomi, Redmi, Infinix, Realme and Tecno’s own lineup.

6,000mAh Battery Could Be the Big Highlight

Battery life looks set to be one of the Spark 50 Pro’s strongest selling points.

The global phone is available in different battery configurations, and Tecno’s reference to “666” in its Pakistani press material hints that the local model could receive the 6,000mAh version.

That larger cell is reportedly designed to retain more than 80% of its battery health after up to 1,900 charging cycles, with a claimed lifespan extending to around six years under the stated testing conditions.

60W Charging and Bypass Charging

The large battery is paired with a 60W charging kit, giving the Spark 50 Pro considerably quicker charging than basic budget phones.

Reviews of the device indicate that it can reach around 63% in under 30 minutes, while a complete charge can take roughly 55 minutes under suitable conditions.

Tecno has also included bypass charging, which can direct power toward the phone’s system instead of continuously charging the battery. That can be useful during extended gaming sessions or while the phone is plugged in for long periods.

Helio G100 Ultimate Keeps It in the 4G Class

The Spark 50 Pro is not designed as a performance flagship. Its MediaTek Helio G100 Ultimate chipset is paired with an octa-core CPU featuring two cores clocked up to 2.2GHz.

Graphics are handled by the Mali-G57 MC2 GPU.

That combination should be sufficient for everyday apps, social media, streaming, web browsing and moderate multitasking. However, buyers looking specifically for maximum gaming performance will find more capable chipsets elsewhere in the same general price segment.

8GB RAM for Everyday Multitasking

Tecno has equipped the handset with 8GB of RAM, which gives it a useful advantage for keeping multiple applications active.

The amount is more than adequate for ordinary multitasking, although the overall experience will still depend heavily on storage speed, software optimization and Tecno’s memory-management implementation.

6.78-Inch 120Hz Display Has One Major Compromise

The Spark 50 Pro uses a large 6.78-inch display with a 120Hz refresh rate.

The high refresh rate should make scrolling, animations and supported games feel noticeably smoother than conventional 60Hz panels.

There is, however, a significant compromise: the panel is an IPS LCD with 720p HD+ resolution. At this screen size, sharper Full HD+ resolution would have made the display considerably more competitive.

The punch-hole design keeps the front relatively modern, but display resolution remains one of the phone’s weaker points.

50MP Sony Camera Leads the Rear Setup

Photography is centered around a 50MP Sony LYTIA 600 main sensor with a 1/1.95-inch sensor size.

That sensor gives the phone a more substantial imaging foundation than many entry-level devices that rely on smaller basic sensors.

However, the rear camera setup also includes additional lenses that appear to play a supporting role rather than transforming the phone into a serious multi-camera photography system.

8MP Selfie Camera

For selfies and video calls, the Spark 50 Pro features an 8MP front-facing camera.

It is a fairly straightforward setup and fits the phone’s overall positioning. Tecno appears to have put more emphasis on the primary rear camera and general hardware package than on high-resolution selfie photography.

Durable Build Despite the Slim Profile

One of the more interesting aspects of the Spark 50 Pro is its durability.

Although the phone uses a plastic frame, Tecno gives it IP68 and IP69 protection, providing substantially stronger resistance to water and dust than many conventional budget smartphones.

The handset has also received an SGS 5-star drop safety rating for drops from up to 1.5 meters.

At the same time, the device is only 7.8mm thick, making the combination of durability and slim construction particularly noteworthy.

Stereo Speakers and IR Blaster Add Practical Extras

Tecno has also included stereo speakers with DTS, which should provide a better media experience than a conventional single-speaker configuration.

An IR blaster is another useful addition, allowing the phone to control compatible household electronics such as televisions and air conditioners.

These aren’t headline specifications, but they can make a noticeable difference in everyday use.

HiOS 16 and Android 16 Out of the Box

Software is another area where the Spark 50 Pro arrives relatively up to date.

The phone runs Android 16 with HiOS 16 from the start, giving buyers access to Tecno’s latest software environment rather than an older Android generation.

The long-term value, however, will depend on Tecno’s update policy for this particular model and how consistently major Android and security updates are delivered.

What About the Tecno Spark 50 Pro Price in Pakistan?

Tecno has not officially announced the local price yet.

That means any current price figures should be treated as estimates rather than confirmed retail pricing.

The final price will determine where the Spark 50 Pro sits against competing 4G and affordable 5G smartphones in Pakistan. With the Helio G100 Ultimate, HD+ LCD and 60W charging, Tecno appears to be balancing performance and display quality against battery capacity, durability and charging speed.

Should You Wait for the Spark 50 Pro?

If your priorities are battery endurance, fast charging, durability and a large 120Hz screen, the Spark 50 Pro has a fairly interesting package.

Its biggest weaknesses are equally clear: the 4G-only Helio G100 Ultimate platform and 720p IPS LCD could make it less attractive to buyers seeking higher performance or a sharper display.

Still, the combination of a potentially 6,000mAh battery, 60W charging, bypass charging, IP68/IP69 protection, stereo speakers and a slim 7.8mm body gives Tecno plenty to talk about.
