TECNO has officially announced the launch date for its highly anticipated POVA 8 series in Pakistan. The new lineup will make its debut on June 11, marking the first official release of the smartphones after their initial showcase at MWC 2026.
POVA 8 Brings Massive 8000mAh Battery
The standard TECNO POVA 8 is expected to be the highlight of the series thanks to its enormous 8000mAh battery. The device adopts a futuristic design featuring a distinctive triangular camera module on the rear panel.
Adding to its unique appearance, one of the camera rings reportedly integrates a PixelJoy LED display, offering customizable lighting effects similar to the notification lighting systems seen on some premium smartphones. The handset is also expected to support 5G connectivity and could be powered by MediaTek’s Dimensity 7100 chipset.
Fast Charging and Large Storage Expected
According to certification listings, the POVA 8 may support 45W wired fast charging. The smartphone is also expected to offer up to 8GB of RAM and as much as 256GB of internal storage.
Reports further suggest that the device will feature a Full HD+ display, aiming to deliver a balanced experience for gaming, entertainment, and everyday use.
POVA 8 Pro Focuses on Premium Features
Alongside the standard model, TECNO is also expected to introduce the POVA 8 Pro. The Pro variant appears to feature a more refined camera design and is rumored to include Sony’s LYT-700C image sensor, the same camera technology found in the CAMON 50 series.
While its battery capacity is smaller at 6500mAh, the phone compensates with additional premium features, including an IP69K durability rating for improved protection against dust and water.
Dedicated AI Button Could Debut
The POVA 8 Pro is also expected to arrive with a dedicated shortcut key believed to be linked to TECNO’s Ella AI assistant. An eye-catching orange-accented power button further helps distinguish the Pro model from its standard counterpart.
