Tecno Pova 6 5G Official Teaser Shows 108MP Camera & Smooth 120Hz Display

Tecno is preparing to launch the fifth installment in its long-running Pova 6 series. The new Tecno Pova 6 5G was recently teased in the Colombian market, showcasing a premium display and an impressive camera with 3x in-sensor zoom. This upcoming release has caught our attention, and it should pique your interest too.

Tecno has officially teased the device on social media, sharing key details about its camera and display. One of the biggest highlights is its 108 MP high-resolution camera, paired with two secondary sensors. While Tecno hasn’t revealed details about the secondary lenses, the main 108 MP sensor offers 3X lossless zoom, making it a standout feature.

The teaser also gives us a glimpse of the Pova 6 5G’s design, which takes a fresh approach compared to previous models. Unlike the Pova 6, 6 Pro, and 6 Neo, which featured a mechanical-inspired look, this model has a more minimalistic aesthetic. With plain colors, a square camera module, and Black/White color options, it appears to be designed for a broader audience rather than just gamers. Despite its budget-friendly pricing, it maintains a stylish appearance.

In terms of display, teasers suggest the Pova 6 5G will feature a 120Hz IPS panel. It also includes a Dynamic Notification Center, similar to Dynamic Port 2.0, which was previously seen on the Pova 6 4G and Pova 6 Pro.

According to recent FCC certifications, the Pova 6 5G (model KJ8s) will house a 5000mAh battery. Compared to other models in the series, this might seem like a downgrade, but since the device isn’t aimed at gaming enthusiasts, the battery capacity may be sufficient. It will support 33W fast charging, ensuring quick power-ups.

As for performance, the Pova 6 5G is expected to feature a Dimensity chipset since it is a 5G-ready device. However, the exact model is still unconfirmed. Some reports suggest it could be a rebranded Spark 20 Pro 5G, which runs on the Dimensity 6080 chip.
