One UI 9 Testing Begins for Galaxy S26 FE
Samsung has reportedly started internal testing of One UI 9 for the upcoming Galaxy S26 FE. A reliable tipster on X shared details about the first software build, identified as S741NKSU0AZE5. The leak also confirms the Korean variant’s model number as SM-S741N.
Launch Timeline Becomes Clearer
The testing phase indicates that the Galaxy S26 FE will likely launch with One UI 9 pre-installed. This also suggests the device will arrive after Samsung unveils the Galaxy Z Fold8 and Galaxy Z Flip8. Both foldable phones are expected to debut the new software version during Samsung’s July 22 event.
Samsung May Follow Last Year’s Schedule
The latest information aligns with Samsung’s previous Fan Edition release strategy. The Galaxy S25 FE was officially introduced in September last year. Because of this, many industry watchers expect the Galaxy S26 FE to launch around a similar timeframe.
Exynos 2500 Expected Inside
Earlier Geekbench listings revealed that the Galaxy S26 FE could be powered by Samsung’s Exynos 2500 processor. The new chipset would replace the Exynos 2400 found in the Galaxy S25 FE. This upgrade may bring better overall performance and improved energy efficiency.
RAM Configuration May Stay the Same
Despite the processor upgrade, Samsung may keep the same memory setup. Benchmark details suggest the Galaxy S26 FE will feature 8GB of RAM. At the moment, there are no signs of a higher RAM option for the device.
More Details Expected Soon
Samsung has not officially confirmed the Galaxy S26 FE yet. However, more leaks related to its camera system, battery capacity, and display specifications are expected to appear in the coming weeks.
