Infinix Hot 70 Goes Official Early With Helio G100 Ultimate and 6,000mAh Battery

Infinix has quietly introduced the new Infinix Hot 70 in Bangladesh ahead of the global debut of the Hot 70 series scheduled for May 25. The smartphone is already available through both online and offline retail channels in the country.

Helio G100 Ultimate Powers the Hot 70

The Infinix Hot 70 is equipped with MediaTek’s Helio G100 Ultimate processor, paired with up to 8GB RAM and 128GB internal storage. Users can also expand storage further via a dedicated microSD card slot.

The smartphone features a 6.78-inch LCD display with HD+ resolution and a smooth 120Hz refresh rate. Infinix has also included an IP64 rating for dust and splash resistance along with a side-mounted fingerprint scanner for security.

50MP Camera With Active Halo Lighting

On the rear, the device sports a 50MP primary camera with an f/1.85 aperture and autofocus support. A standout addition is the Active Halo LED lighting system placed beside the camera module, adding a unique visual element to notifications and alerts.

For selfies and video calls, the Hot 70 carries an 8MP front-facing camera.

Large Battery and Long-Term Software Support

The smartphone packs a massive 6,000mAh battery with support for 45W fast charging. It runs on Android 16-based XOS 16 out of the box and includes several AI-powered features such as One-tap AI FlashMemo and Folax.

Infinix has also promised three major Android OS upgrades and five years of security updates for the device, improving its long-term value.

Connectivity and Extra Features

Connectivity options on the Hot 70 include 4G support, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.4, NFC, GPS, USB Type-C, and an infrared blaster.

The phone is available in Green Texture, Night Pulse, Silver Dancer, and Quite Violet color options. Notably, the Night Pulse version features a temperature-reactive color-changing back panel.

Price and Availability

In Bangladesh, the Infinix Hot 70 starts at BDT 18,999 ($155) for the 4GB + 128GB model. The 6GB + 128GB variant is priced at BDT 21,999 ($180), while the top-end 8GB + 128GB version costs BDT 25,999 ($210).
