Galaxy M47 Surfaces Ahead of Launch
Samsung’s upcoming mid-range smartphone, the Samsung Galaxy M47, has appeared on the Geekbench benchmarking platform ahead of its official release. The listing offers an early glimpse at the device’s hardware and software details.
The phone was previously spotted in the GSM Association’s IMEI database earlier this year, confirming that Samsung had started development work on the new model.
Snapdragon 6 Gen 3 Powers the Device
According to the benchmark listing, the Galaxy M47 is equipped with Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 6 Gen 3 processor. The chipset is designed for mid-range smartphones and focuses on balanced performance and power efficiency.
The tested prototype included 8GB of RAM. However, Samsung may launch additional memory and storage configurations when the phone becomes official.
Android 16 and One UI 8 Confirmed
The Geekbench database also reveals that the upcoming device runs Android 16 out of the box. Samsung is expected to pair the software with its latest custom skin, One UI 8.
This combination could bring new AI features, smoother animations, and updated customization tools to the Galaxy M47.
More Details Expected Soon
Samsung has not yet announced the official launch timeline for the Galaxy M47. Important details such as display size, camera setup, battery capacity, and pricing also remain unknown.
More leaks and certifications are expected to appear in the coming weeks as the smartphone moves closer to launch.
