iQOO has officially expanded its lineup with the launch of the iQOO 15T, marking the brand’s first-ever T-series smartphone. The new device stands out in the flagship segment by ditching Qualcomm’s latest Snapdragon platform used in the iQOO 15 series and instead adopting MediaTek’s Dimensity 9500 Monster Edition chipset. This move highlights iQOO’s focus on performance tuning and gaming optimization for a different user base.
Premium Display with Ultra Bright Output
The iQOO 15T features a large 6.82-inch 8T LTPO AMOLED display with a sharp 2K resolution of 3168 × 1440 pixels. The panel supports a smooth 144Hz refresh rate, making scrolling and gaming highly responsive.
It also reaches an impressive peak brightness of up to 4500 nits, ensuring strong visibility even under direct sunlight. The display integrates a 16MP selfie camera and an ultrasonic in-display fingerprint scanner for a seamless front design. Color options include black, white, and a gradient finish.
Powerful Hardware with Gaming Focus
At its core, the device runs on the MediaTek Dimensity 9500 Monster Edition, a customized high-performance version of the standard chipset. It is paired with iQOO’s in-house Q3 gaming chip, designed specifically to stabilize frame rates during intense gaming sessions.
The smartphone supports up to 16GB of LPDDR5X RAM and up to 1TB of UFS 4.1 storage, placing it firmly in the ultra-premium performance category. On the software side, it runs OriginOS 6 based on Android 16. The device also comes with IP68 and IP69 ratings, offering strong protection against dust and water.
200MP Camera System Debuts on T-Series
The iQOO 15T introduces a major camera upgrade for the brand, becoming the first iQOO device to feature a 200MP main sensor. The primary camera uses a 1/1.56-inch sensor with an f/1.88 aperture, optical image stabilization, and advanced autofocus support.
Alongside it, there is a 50MP ultra-wide camera for landscape and group shots. On the front, a 16MP selfie camera is placed inside the display, maintaining a clean and modern design.
Massive Battery with Fast Charging Support
Powering the device is an enormous 8000mAh SiC battery, making it one of the largest batteries in a modern flagship smartphone. It supports 100W wired fast charging along with PPS and PD protocols for wider compatibility.
However, wireless charging is not included. The phone also supports reverse wired charging and bypass charging for gaming while plugged in.
