The Infinix Note Edge has officially entered the Pakistani smartphone market, launching in the second half of April. Positioned as a value-focused midrange device, the latest offering from Infinix brings a mix of flagship-inspired design elements and practical hardware—though not without a few compromises.

Sleek Design and Comfortable Build
The Infinix Note Edge stands out with its slim 7.2mm profile and curved design, giving it a premium in-hand feel. The display smoothly blends into the edges, while the chamfered back and rounded corners enhance ergonomics for everyday use.
Adding to its appeal, the device features a rear RGB ring LED and a dedicated AI button on the side—features typically seen in higher-end smartphones.
Curved AMOLED Display Sets It Apart
One of the biggest highlights is its 6.78-inch 3D curved AMOLED display. The panel offers a sharp 1.5K resolution, 120Hz refresh rate, and full DCI-P3 color coverage, delivering vibrant visuals.
Brightness is another strong point, with typical levels reaching 1,600 nits and peak brightness reportedly going up to 4,500 nits. Compared to many competitors in the same price bracket still offering IPS LCD panels, this display gives the Note Edge a clear advantage
XOS 16 Brings a Refined Software Experience
The smartphone debuts with XOS 16, a major upgrade over previous versions of Infinix’s custom interface. The new software focuses on smoother animations and modern visual effects, including a “liquid glass” style inspired by recent UI trends.
Infinix has also promised up to three major OS updates, improving long-term usability and making the device more future-proof than earlier models.
Battery and Storage Offer Strong Value
The Note Edge packs a large 6,500mAh battery, designed to comfortably last a full day or more on moderate usage. It supports 45W fast charging and is rated for long-term durability, maintaining up to 80% health even after extended use cycles.
On the storage front, the phone offers 256GB capacity paired with 8GB RAM, which is relatively generous for its price segment.
Performance Falls Behind Rivals
Despite its strengths, the device is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7100, which trails behind newer chips like the Dimensity 7300 and 7400 found in competing models.
Benchmark scores place it below rivals such as the Redmi Note 15 5G and the Nothing Phone 3a Lite, making it less appealing for users focused on gaming or heavy multitasking.
Limited Camera Setup
Camera hardware is another area where compromises are evident. The Note Edge features a 50MP main sensor and a 13MP front camera, but lacks additional lenses such as ultrawide or telephoto.
The absence of optical image stabilization (OIS) may also impact image quality in certain conditions, particularly low-light photography.
Price and Market Position
The Infinix Note Edge is currently priced at around Rs 74,999 in Pakistan, making it an attractive option for users seeking a stylish device with a premium display and long battery life.
