Infinix Hot 70 Unboxed as New Global Budget Contender Enters the Market

Infinix has officially started the global rollout of its Hot 70 series, and the first unit has now reached the hands-on stage. The Infinix Hot 70 brings a fresh design approach, strong battery capacity, and interesting color technology aimed at budget-conscious users.

Unboxing Experience and Box Contents

The Infinix Hot 70 arrives with a surprisingly rich retail package for its segment. Inside the box, users get a color-matching protective case with a frame bumper, a 45W fast charger with a USB-A connector, USB-C wired earbuds, and the smartphone itself.

This complete accessory bundle adds extra value, especially in the entry-level smartphone category where extras are often limited.

Color Options and Heat-Responsive Design

The device is available in several eye-catching colors, including Thermo Orange, Green Texture, Quiet Violet, Dive Blue, Silver Dancer, and Night Pulse. Among them, the Thermo Orange variant stands out the most due to its heat-reactive back panel.

This special finish changes tone depending on temperature, appearing darker in colder conditions and brighter when exposed to heat. While the effect is subtle in real-world testing, it adds a unique identity to the device.

Slim Build and Practical Features

The Infinix Hot 70 continues the brand’s tradition of slim and lightweight smartphones. It measures just 7.5mm in thickness and weighs under 200 grams, making it comfortable for long-term use.

A notable addition is the extra customizable side button, finished in orange with a textured surface for easy recognition. The standard buttons also offer strong tactile feedback, giving a more premium feel than expected in this price range.

Display and Performance Impression

On the front, the Hot 70 features a 6.78-inch IPS LCD panel with a 120Hz refresh rate. The smooth scrolling experience is a strong point for this category.

However, the 720p resolution feels stretched on such a large screen, resulting in slightly visible graininess in fine details like text. This is clearly a cost-saving decision, balancing performance and affordability.

Battery and Market Position

The smartphone packs a large 6,000mAh battery, which should easily support extended daily use. Combined with its lightweight design, the Hot 70 aims to offer long-lasting performance without adding bulk.

While official pricing has not been revealed yet, the device is expected to enter the budget segment with a highly competitive price, making it a strong contender in its category
