Infinix Launches the Standard Hot 70 Variant
After weeks of leaks and teaser campaigns, Infinix has officially announced the new Hot 70 smartphone. For now, the company has only introduced the standard version, while more models from the Hot 70 lineup, including possible Pro variants, are expected to launch later.
The new device gives users an early look at the overall design and hardware direction of the upcoming Hot 70 series.
Thermo Orange Design Changes Color With Heat
The biggest highlight of the Infinix Hot 70 is its unique rear panel design. The smartphone arrives in a special “Thermo Orange” color option featuring heat-reactive paint technology.
When the phone stays cool, the back panel appears in a darker “Quiet Orange” shade. As the device becomes warmer during usage, the color transforms into a brighter “Playful Orange” finish.
Apart from Thermo Orange, the phone is also available in Green Texture, Quiet Violet, Dive Blue, Silver Dancer, and Night Pulse color options.
Slim Body Despite Massive Battery
Even with its large battery capacity, the Hot 70 maintains a slim profile. The smartphone measures just 7.49mm thick and weighs approximately 195 grams, making it relatively lightweight for a device with a 6,000mAh battery.
Helio G100 Ultimate Chipset Powers the Device
The Infinix Hot 70 is powered by the MediaTek Helio G100 Ultimate processor. The same chipset was previously used in some older Note-series devices from the company.
Infinix is offering the smartphone in multiple memory configurations, including:
- 6GB RAM + 128GB Storage
- 8GB RAM + 128GB Storage
- 6GB RAM + 256GB Storage
- 8GB RAM + 256GB Storage
6.78-Inch 120Hz Display Included
On the front, the smartphone features a 6.78-inch IPS LCD display with a resolution of 720 x 1576 pixels.
The panel supports a 120Hz refresh rate, providing smoother scrolling, animations, and gaming performance compared to traditional 60Hz screens.
6,000mAh Battery With 45W Fast Charging
Battery performance is expected to be one of the device’s strongest points. The Infinix Hot 70 packs a large 6,000mAh battery inside its slim body.
The smartphone supports 45W wired fast charging and also offers 10W reverse charging support, allowing users to charge other compatible devices.
50MP Main Camera and 8MP Selfie Shooter
For photography, the Hot 70 comes with a 50MP primary rear camera featuring an f/1.9 aperture. A secondary auxiliary sensor is also included on the back, although Infinix has not officially revealed its exact function.
On the front, the phone houses an 8MP selfie camera for video calls and social media photography.
Android 16 and Custom Shortcut Button
The smartphone runs Android 16 out of the box with Infinix’s custom XOS 16 skin layered on top.
Another unusual feature in the budget segment is the inclusion of a dedicated hardware button. Users can customize the button to launch apps, shortcuts, or specific features quickly.
