The Redmi A4 5G was partially unveiled over a month ago, introducing the new Snapdragon 4s Gen 2 chipset. However, it has not yet been officially launched for open sales in any region. Xiaomi has now confirmed through teasers that the phone will relaunch on November 20, this time with a proper debut.

While the launch date is set, only a few specifications have been revealed so far. It’s unclear whether there will be a preorder window. Here’s everything we currently know about the Redmi A4 5G.
The phone features the Snapdragon 4s Gen 2 chipset as its key highlight. Another standout feature is the 6.7-inch IPS display, offering an HD+ 720p resolution and a smooth 120Hz refresh rate. The screen has uniform bezels and a small U-notch to house the selfie camera.
Designed to be the most affordable 5G smartphone, the Redmi A4 5G achieves this with a cost-conscious approach. It is expected to launch in a 4GB RAM + 64GB storage base variant, with a possible 128GB storage option at a higher price. The base price is rumored to be around $100 (approximately PKR 27,000).
Battery performance is another strong point of the device. It packs a 5160mAh battery, supporting 18W wired charging. Camera features include a 50MP primary rear camera and an 8MP selfie shooter, offering decent capabilities for its price range.
