Vivo is set to launch its latest premium mid-range smartphone, the Vivo V50, as the successor to the Vivo V40 from 2024. While the official release is scheduled for February 17th, leaked hands-on photos have surfaced ahead of time, giving us an early look at the device.

The images showcase the Vivo V50 in its officially advertised Starry Blue color, alongside Titanium Grey and Rose Red variants. While renders provide an idea of the design, real-life images offer a clearer perspective. The leaks come from X tipster Anvin, revealing key details about the device.
One of the images confirms that the Vivo V50 is powered by the Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 chipset, featuring an octa-core 2.63 GHz processor. The phone boasts 12GB of physical RAM with an additional 12GB of virtual RAM expansion. It also runs on Android 15 with FunTouch OS for global markets and Origin OS for the Chinese version.
Storage options for the Vivo V50 go up to 512GB, likely for the highest-end variant. The device features a large 6.78-inch AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and 1.5K resolution, making it ideal for smooth and immersive visuals.
Battery life is another strong suit, as NCC certification confirms a massive 6000mAh battery. The phone also supports 90W fast charging, slightly improving upon the 80W charging of its predecessor. Despite housing such a large battery, the device maintains a slim 7.39mm chassis, an impressive feat for its category.
Vivo has already teased the V50’s camera details on its official launch page. The device features a 50MP primary camera with OIS, a 50MP ultra-wide lens, and a 50MP selfie camera, ensuring high-quality shots across all perspectives.
With the official launch set for February 17th, Vivo is expected to reveal pricing and availability details on the same day. Stay tuned for the latest updates!
