The Galaxy Z Flip 6 and the upcoming Galaxy Z Flip FE are expected to share some key features, but just how similar will they be? A recent leak offers some insights that might interest you.

Ross Young, a well-known display supply chain analyst, shared his observations on X, suggesting that both models will use the same foldable AMOLED display. According to his report, the Flip 6 and Flip FE will have identical screen size, resolution, and specifications. If true, this also implies that the devices will share similar overall dimensions.
The Galaxy Z Flip 6 boasts a tall FHD+ 6.7-inch LTPO AMOLED display with a variable 120Hz refresh rate. The screen is highly detailed, offering a pixel density of 426ppi. It also delivers an impressive peak brightness of 2600 nits, ensuring excellent visibility even under bright sunlight.
Since the Galaxy Z Flip FE isn’t designed as a significant upgrade, reusing the display from the Flip 6 seems like a practical choice. However, Ross Young didn’t confirm whether the cover screen would also be identical. The Flip 6 features a 3.4-inch sAMOLED 720p outer screen, which would be a great addition to the Flip FE if included.
Earlier leaks suggested that the Flip FE might be powered by an older Exynos 2400e processor. However, newer reports hint that the Flip FE, alongside the Galaxy Z Flip 7, could debut with the advanced Exynos 2500 chip. While the processor details remain uncertain, one thing seems clear: the Galaxy Z Flip FE is likely to adopt the same high-quality display as the Flip 6.
