Samsung Galaxy A36 & A56 First Official Teaser Promises 6 OS Updates

As the next Galaxy Unpacked Event approaches, excitement is building for the launch of the Galaxy A56 and A36. There’s no need for further speculation—Samsung has officially released a teaser on YouTube and X, confirming its upcoming products.

Samsung Galaxy A36 & A56 First Official Teaser Promises 6 OS Updates

The one-minute teaser didn’t directly showcase the new devices. Instead, it highlighted the achievements of Samsung’s “Awesome” A-series lineup, setting the stage for the Galaxy A56 and A36 launch by reminding us of the success of previous models.

Although the teaser didn’t explicitly reveal the new phones, Samsung dropped a few subtle hints. One key takeaway is the company’s focus on long-term software support for future Galaxy A-series devices.

While the video features several A-series phones, the Galaxy A36 and A56 don’t make a clear appearance. However, in the final milliseconds, a redesigned camera module briefly flashes on-screen—closely aligning with recent leaks. It’ll be interesting to see where these models fit in Samsung’s pricing structure.

Rumors suggest that Samsung has unified the new camera design across the Galaxy A36, A56, and A26. The teaser hints at a glass-covered triple-lens system, similar to the design seen on the Galaxy Note 10 and Note 10 Plus.

Another exciting revelation in the teaser is the mention of “Awesome 6OS updates.” If true, this means the Galaxy A56 and A36 could receive six years of software updates, just one year short of the flagship Galaxy S and Z series. This would be a significant improvement over the Galaxy A55 and A35, which only received four OS updates.

Beyond the teaser, certification listings and Geekbench benchmarks reveal additional details. Both devices are expected to feature 6.6-inch AMOLED displays, while the Galaxy A56 may be powered by the Exynos 1580, a more powerful chip than the Snapdragon 6 Gen 3 in the A36.

Other shared specs include a 5000mAh battery and 45W fast charging for both models. More details will surface soon, and we’ll keep you updated as we learn more. Stay tuned!
