The Galaxy A06, initially launched during its global rollout in Asia, has officially arrived in Pakistan. Samsung has introduced the device in two variants locally, both offering 4GB RAM paired with either 64GB or 128GB of internal storage.

Design-wise, the A06 closely resembles its predecessor, the A05. One noticeable feature is the “Key Island” bump on the right side, which divides opinions on whether it’s functional or purely aesthetic. This addition helps users locate the keys more easily. Unlike the A05, the A06 now includes a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, adding a welcome upgrade.
The Galaxy A06 features a 6.7-inch PLS LCD with a resolution of 720p and a standard 60Hz refresh rate. However, it retains large bezels, a thick chin, and the outdated U-notch design, showing no visible improvements over its predecessor.
On the back, the phone sports a dual-camera setup with 50MP and 2MP lenses. For selfies, there’s an 8MP front-facing camera. Under the hood, the A06 uses the MediaTek Helio G85 chipset, the same as the A05, but now runs Android 14. Samsung has promised future updates, potentially reaching Android 16.
The device is powered by a 5000mAh battery, supporting 25W fast charging. Additionally, its audio system is enhanced with Dolby Atmos for an immersive experience. The Galaxy A06 is available in Pakistan at Rs. 26,999 for the 64GB variant and Rs. 31,999 for the 128GB model, making it a solid choice for budget-conscious buyers.
