Realme C75x Set to Launch in Pakistan: Read this Before You Buy!

Among last month’s global smartphone launches, Realme introduced the C75x, a budget contender that might land in Pakistan within the next couple of days. With an expected price between PKR 40,000 to 45,000, concerns are already growing about its value for money in the Pakistani market.

Underwhelming Specs at a Premium Price

Insider sources confirm the Realme C75x is set to arrive soon, but its dated hardware and high price may disappoint buyers. The phone features a 6.67-inch display—a reasonable size for media consumption—but with just 720p resolution and 500 nits brightness, outdoor readability takes a hit.

Camera Performance: A Major Letdown

Realme equips the C75x with a 5MP front camera inside a punch-hole cutout—a letdown when compared to competitors like Infinix and Tecno, which offer superior selfie shooters in this range. The rear setup isn’t much better, featuring a 50MP primary sensor with a secondary decorative lens, producing subpar image quality with limited details and variety.

Outdated Chipset & Sluggish Performance

Powering the device is MediaTek’s aging Helio G81 Ultra (12nm) processor, running Android 15 with Realme UI 6. Performance issues, stability concerns, and slow multitasking are likely, making it a weak choice for gaming or intensive use. Furthermore, eMMC 5.1 storage replaces modern UFS technology, leading to slower app launches and data transfers.

Misleading RAM Marketing?

Realme’s marketing may confuse buyers about RAM capacity. The C75x comes with 8GB of physical RAM, but expect promotional claims of 16GB (with virtual expansion). Keep in mind that virtual RAM doesn’t enhance real-world performance—it’s merely a software trick.

The Few Positives: Battery & Durability

Despite its shortcomings, the Realme C75x does offer a large 5600mAh battery with 45W fast charging, ensuring good endurance. It also boasts an IP68/IP69 rating, making it drop-resistant and water-resistant—a rarity in this segment.

Final Verdict: Overpriced for Its Features?

Considering the current market trends in Pakistan, the Realme C75x seems better suited for a price tag under PKR 30,000. Buyers should weigh their options carefully before purchasing, as better alternatives are available in the same price range.
