Infinix has unexpectedly introduced two new budget-friendly models in Pakistan: the Infinix Smart 9 and Smart 9 HD. Both models offer decent specs at affordable prices, making them solid options for anyone with a budget under 30k.

The Smart 9 HD is the more basic of the two, with a lower refresh rate and half the storage of the Smart 9, though the rest of the specs are largely similar. It features a 6.7-inch IPS display with a 90Hz refresh rate and 720p resolution.
The Smart 9 also has a 6.7-inch 720p IPS display but supports a smoother 120Hz refresh rate and has a slightly upgraded SoC to keep up with it. Both phones come with a 240Hz touch sampling rate, 500 nits of brightness (typical), and a Dynamic Bar for added functionality.
Running on Android 14 (Go Edition) due to limited resources like 4GB RAM, the Smart 9 and Smart 9 HD are equipped with an Helio G81 chip in the Smart 9, while the HD model features an unnamed 2.2GHz Helio processor. Both phones house a 5000mAh battery that charges at 10W, a standard for this price range.
The camera setup includes a 13MP rear camera and an 8MP front camera on both models, suitable for basic photography needs. Both phones feature side-mounted fingerprint scanners integrated with the power button. They also come with dual DTS-tuned speakers, which can be boosted to 300% volume.
Additionally, these phones include IP54 ratings, drop protection, and wet touch functionality, providing durability at an affordable price. The Infinix Smart 9 (4/128GB) is priced at Rs 28,999, while the Smart 9 HD (4/64GB) is available for Rs 25,999.
