Apple has been sticking to a similar iPhone design for over four generations, but that might change next year. A recent YouTube leak imagines what the iPhone 17 Pro Max could look like if current rumors and reports are accurate. Here’s what you need to know.

A Russian YouTube channel shared a concept video showcasing the iPhone 17 Pro Max from all angles. The design features a horizontal camera strip across the upper half of the back, giving it a pixel-like appearance. Meanwhile, the front design, including the Dynamic Island, is expected to remain unchanged.
This new camera design conceals the lenses under a sleek glass strip, addressing the issue of dust accumulation around the protruding lenses seen on iPhones since the iPhone 11 Pro Max. It’s a practical and aesthetic improvement.
From the iPhone 11 series to the iPhone 16 Pro Max, design changes have been minimal. However, the iPhone 17 Pro Max could mark Apple’s first major redesign in years. Reports also suggest Apple may switch from a Titanium mid-frame to a full Aluminum chassis for future iPhones.
It’s important to note that this concept render is based on rumors and isn’t an official design. Until Apple provides confirmation, more leaks and theories are likely to emerge, shedding light on whether this design will become a reality.
In terms of specifications, the iPhone 17 Pro Max is expected to feature the Apple A18 Pro chip and a 6.9-inch display. The chip may be fabricated using TSMC’s third-generation 3nm N3P node. Additionally, for the first time, the Pro and Pro Max models might include 12 GB of RAM.
