Vivo has officially launched the Y04 in the Pakistani market, just as WhatMobile predicted earlier. Positioned as an entry-level device above the Vivo Y03t, it boasts a large battery and an ultra-budget-friendly price tag. Here’s a closer look at what this new Vivo handset has to offer.

Durability and Design
The Vivo Y04 is built to last, featuring an IP64 rating and an SGS 5-star military-grade drop resistance. It even includes a Wet Touch feature, allowing smooth touch functionality even when the screen is wet. This ensures better usability in rainy or accidental water exposure scenarios.
Available in Jade Green and Titanium Gold, the phone sports an anti-drop design. On the back, it houses a dual-camera setup, led by a 13 MP main sensor, supported by a 0.08 MP auxiliary lens. For selfies, Vivo has included a 5 MP front camera.
Display and Features
The 6.74-inch screen delivers 70% NTSC color gamut and 570 nits brightness, making it vibrant and visible in daylight. Despite being a budget phone, it impresses with a 90Hz refresh rate. However, its 720p HD+ resolution may feel a bit limiting for some users.
Another key highlight is the dual-speaker setup, ensuring loud and clear audio. Unlike the Y03, this model also comes with a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, adding extra convenience and security.
Performance and Battery
Powering the Vivo Y04 is the Unisoc T7225 chipset, an 8-core processor built on a 12nm architecture, clocked at 1.8GHz. While not the most advanced chip, it’s capable enough for everyday tasks.
The device is backed by a 5500mAh battery, providing ample endurance. It supports 15W fast charging, helping you quickly get back to full power.
Software and Storage
Out of the box, the Y04 runs on Android 14. The Pakistani variant comes with 4GB RAM and 64GB storage, with an option to expand via microSD card.
Pricing
The Vivo Y04 is priced at Rs 28,999, just Rs 2,000 more than the Vivo Y03t, making it a compelling upgrade with added features.
