Infinix is keeping pace with the competition, ensuring its presence in the market amidst a flood of new smartphone releases. Reports suggest the Infinix GT 30 Pro is in development, with its name recently appearing in a new IMEI database listing. This indicates that the premium gaming phone is on its way.

Similar to last year’s release, the GT 30 Pro is expected to debut in multiple global markets. According to the IMEI listing, its model number is X6873. So, if you come across this number online, you’ll know it’s the GT 30 Pro.
Unfortunately, details about the GT 30 Pro are scarce at this stage. The certification doesn’t reveal much about its hardware, and leaks have yet to surface. However, if the new model follows in the footsteps of the GT 20 Pro from 2024, it’s likely to be a hit among fans.
The GT 20 Pro, part of Infinix’s GT series, featured a sleek Mech design and a 6.78-inch AMOLED display. Impressively, it offered a 144Hz refresh rate and 1080p resolution—features typically seen in high-end gaming phones. With PWM dimming at 2304Hz for eye comfort in low light and a peak brightness of 1300 nits, it excelled in display quality.
Gaming phones demand excellent cooling and responsiveness, and the GT 20 Pro delivered with a 360Hz touch sampling rate and a 70% larger VC chamber compared to the GT 10. It was powered by the Dimensity 8200 Ultimate chipset and included a dedicated Pixelworks X5 Turbo display chip for enhanced performance.
The GT 20 Pro ran XOS GT based on Android 14 and supported features like NFC and an IR blaster. Despite being gamer-focused, it included a 108 MP main camera and a 32 MP front-facing camera. Its 5000mAh battery, with 45W fast charging, provided reliable backup.
The GT 20 Pro was also available in Pakistan, priced at Rs 99,999. If the GT 30 Pro builds on these specs while maintaining a similar price point, it could attract a strong following among gaming enthusiasts.
