The Itel A50 and A70 have gained popularity due to their ultra-affordable prices. These budget-friendly phones recently became even more appealing as Itel announced significant price cuts in Pakistan. Here’s what you need to know.

Previously, the Itel A50’s 2/64GB and 4/64GB variants were priced at Rs. 18,000 and Rs. 20,000, respectively. However, the prices have now dropped to Rs. 17,000 and Rs. 19,000. Meanwhile, the Itel A70’s 4/128GB model, which retailed for Rs. 24,000, now costs only Rs. 21,000.
In terms of features, the Itel A70 and A50 share several similarities, with differences primarily in their cameras, Android versions, and RAM/storage options. The A70 is equipped with a 13MP rear camera, a 0.08MP assistive lens, and an 8MP front camera. It also features dual-LED flash for enhanced photography.
The Itel A50, on the other hand, has an 8MP rear camera and a 5MP front shooter. It also has the advantage of launching with the newer Android 14 Go edition, compared to the A70’s Android 13 Go OS introduced in early 2024.
Both phones are powered by 5000mAh batteries with 10W charging support and offer virtual memory expansion along with SD card slots for additional storage. The devices feature identical 6.6-inch 720p HD+ displays with a 60Hz refresh rate and ~500 nits brightness.
Security-wise, both models come with side-mounted fingerprint scanners integrated into their power buttons. They are also powered by the same Unisoc T603 chipset, ensuring smooth performance.
With their updated prices, the Itel A50 and A70 deliver excellent value for money, making them even more attractive to budget-conscious consumers.
